General

The holiday accommodation takes up the entire top floor of a very large Victorian house, to call it a flat however does not do it justice. The exposed beams give it a real 'cottage' feel and because the house is built into the hillside, access is from ground level.

All rooms are very spacious, light and airy with spectacular views.

Full gas central heating is provided outside the summer months. For the comfort of many of our visitors, smoking is not permitted within the accommodation.

Pets are welcome for a small charge but must not be left unnattended.

Due to its situation up a steep hill, we advise that Hunter's Rest is not suitable for people with a mobility problem.

Kitchen / Diner

A stable door leads from outside into the dining area. The kitchen is very well equipped with a full electric cooker, microwave oven and refrigerator.

Lounge

Equipped with radio, television and DVD player.

Study

The study gives access to the bedrooms and is an ideal space for quiet reading away from the television.

Plenty of books, magazines of local interest and tourist information leaflets are provided.

Bedrooms

There are two bedrooms; a double and a twin. The double is dual aspect so you can enjoy the views in two directions.

Bathroom

With bath and shower.

Garden

Hunter's Rest is set in 2 acres of garden, a corner of this has been made into a garden for our visitors.

A picnic table and small lawn are available for your enjoyment. A rotary clothes drier is also available should you need it!

Additional Facilities

A cot and high chair are available if required.

A fold-away bed is available but extra persons must be agreed at the time of booking.

Private parking for one vehicle is provided.

Please note, the lane to Hunter's Rest is steep and narrow and not suitable for very large vehicles (campers for example).
