Welcome to Hunter's Rest
Hunter's Rest is a large Victorian house situated on the slopes of the delightful Hawkcombe valley within the Exmoor National Park, just minutes walk from the centre of Porlock.
The two bedroomed self catering holiday accommodation takes up the entire top floor but because the house is built into the hillside, access is from ground level. It is totally self-contained, very spacious, light and airy, with fabulous views from every room.
With a stable door leading outside and exposed beams throughout, the accommodation has a real 'cottage' feel.
Set within a two acre garden which is a haven for wildlife, our guests nearly always comment on the wonderful peace and quiet.
We are pet friendly and with direct access to wonderful woodland and moorland walks, we are ideal for walkers with or without dogs.
Porlock is wonderfully positioned surrounded by the Exmoor countryside, on the South West Coast Path and at the end of the Coleridge Way.
We hope you choose Hunter's Rest as your holiday destination and look forward to welcoming you to this glorious corner of Exmoor.
